We live in such a privelage country where we have access to almost anything. We have access to all our necessities. It wouldn't even cross our minds that tomorrow we will not have water to drink, cook and bathe. Growing up in Venezuela, I experienced water shortages. Although they were probably not to the extent of some African countries experience, i understand the feeling of not having access to water for semi-prolonged periods of time. I believe everyone should have access not only to water but other basic needs. I think EWB does a great job at raising awareness and supporting the development of different developing countries. I don't think we'll fix all the problems by running a mere 5K (which is a lot for me) but not doing anything will not solve the problem either. Please support me as I run to End Poverty!
