Why I Run

I have had the best year of my life in my first year at McGill University to say the least. I met some wonderful and inspiring people in Engineers Without Borders who thought me a great deal about generosity, commitment and leadership. This encouraged me to engage in something greater than myself and become a global citizen. In pursuit of this, I decided to volunteer as a coordinator of Run to End Povery at the McGill Chapter. I believe in running for a cause that will yield positive impact by helping people in great need. So here I am running to end extreme poverty in rural Africa. I hope you will support me in this character building experience, to raise money to finance volunteers departing this summer to Burkina Faso, Ghana, Malawi and Zambia. I have had the opportunity to collaborate with some of these volunteers over the past year and this is one of the factors motivating me to run and raise money!
